The SiteRoll Privacy Pledge:
SiteRoll does not monitor or track the sites you visit nor does SiteRoll monitor or track when you visit them or how often. To be able to show you the discreet, ad-free, SiteRoll floating toolbar, you need to list the sites you visit in the SiteRoll database. But, you can permanently delete your sites at any time.
Your email address will never be sold, rented, given away, or transferred to another organization.
SiteRoll will periodically send you an account-related email message and, if you choose to make a donation, SiteRoll will send you a heart-felt "thank-you" message.
Sharing SiteRolls:
Sending SiteRolls to other people:
When you share a SiteRoll with other people, they will be able to see the sites you have placed on the SiteRoll you shared. If you have attached notes to sites, only those notes that you have marked as sharable will be shared. They will not be able to access any of your other SiteRolls.
Inviting Friends and Colleagues:
People cannot join SiteRoll directly. They need to be invited.
You invite people either by:
- Sharing SiteRolls
- Issuing Invitations
To issue invitations, you must use the invitation form provided. As a member of SiteRoll, you may invite 1.25 people for every SiteRoll you create. The information you enter into the invitation form is captured in a database along with a unique one-time use id. The form sends an email to the email address you entered. The email is sent with your email address as the sender.
Your Public SiteRoll:
SiteRolls that you have marked as "Public" can be viewed by anyone on the internet.
SiteRoll does not collect or store the email addresses of people with whom you share SiteRolls.
Donating Money:
If you choose to make a donation, SiteRoll will not collect or store any financial information. Donations are handled through PayPal and you must have a PayPal account to donate to SiteRoll. Of course, all of your transactions through PayPal are subject to PayPal's privacy promises which SiteRoll can't control.
